We meet every Sunday at 10am where we read the Bible together, pray together, sing worship together, and fellowship together.

We are a church that teaches line-by-line and chapter-by-chapter through the Bible and discuss how Jesus transforms our lives and all He has to offer.

This is a great opportunity to grow in your faith and get to know others in our community.

We believe that children are a vital part of the body of Christ and therefore we want to encourage them to be part of the worship service. We provide childcare for ages 2 months to 7 years upstairs during the teaching portion of the service. We ask children 8 and above stay in the sanctuary with their parents.

Coffee and donuts will be provided.

What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the 66 books (39 in the Old Testament, 27 in the New Testament) that are inspired by God, and the very words of God. The Word of God is complete and sufficient for the complete well-being of a person’s life. It is also infallible, inerrant, and sufficient.

God

We believe in the one true God. He has created all things and upholds all things by His power alone. He is completely sovereign and has predetermined everything ultimately for His glory. He eternally exists in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person of the trinity is fully God, worthy of the same glory and obedience.

Jesus

We believe Jesus is both fully God and fully man, born of a virgin. He is God in the flesh. Through His death, He was our propitiation. He was bodily resurrected on the third day for our justification. Following His resurrection, He ascended to the right hand of the Father and currently intercedes for His church.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God. He applies salvation to the believer by indwelling in every Christian. He also instructs and empowers the believer for Godly living and sanctification.

Humankind

We believe human beings are created in the image of God but all members of humankind became slaves to sin after Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden. Humankind is depraved and dead in their sins. Not a single person is able to please God on his own ability. Therefore, all humans enter the world in a sinful state, completely dead in their sins and trespasses. Pending a divine intervention, every man is destined to die in their sinful state.

Salvation

We believe that those whom God has called, elected and regenerated to have faith in Christ, God has justified. Justification is a free gift given by God through grace, in which He removes the condemnation that was brought about as judgment for our own sins, and gives us the righteousness of Christ. No person is justified until the moment God opens their heart to receive repentance and faith unto life.

Spirit-Filled Life

We believe sanctification is a supernatural process that comes from God alone. A believer’s whole life and mind begins to become transformed from a life of sin, towards a holy life that is pleasing to God. This does not mean a believer is completely free from the desire or ability to sin, which will not take place until the death of the believer. However, the believer will continue to experience victory over sin in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Church Plant

We believe that the best way to advance the Gospel is through church planting. We want to raise up members of the church to plant out of this church and eventually plant churches throughout the Pacific Northwest

The Church

We believe the weekly gatherings of church should devote themselves to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The more the church evangelizes and proclaims the Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit, God will add to their number. In this weekly gathering, the church must be gathered together in person in fellowship. This means that church ultimately cannot take place over a livestream, but it must be gathered together in person.

Baptism

We believe that baptism is the immersion in water of a believer, into the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as an outward demonstration of an already existing inward transformation. It is a beautiful picture of our identification with the death and resurrection of Christ—a picture of dying to sin and rising to new life.

Communion

We believe the Lord’s Supper (communion) is the privilege by which members of the church, by the use of bread and wine, commemorate every week the sacrificial love of our Savior Jesus. This act is preceded by a time of solemn self-examination.

Prayer

We believe Christians are to pray to the Father, in the name of the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Prayer expresses our deepest, innermost needs before God. We are to pray that God be worshipped where He is not. Prayer is an opportunity to be part of the unfolding plans of God. Prayer does not change God. Prayer changes us.

Missions

We believe missions ultimately come from the Great Commission. However, the primary source of making disciples happens through the life of the local church. We believe the Holy Spirit is still calling people for mission work, so the church’s job is to pray and fast and to hear from the Spirit who He is sending. The work is not finished until every people group has access to the Gospel.

Assurance of Believers

We believe a true believer cannot lose their salvation. They are not able to change their status before God, nor are they able to disrupt the ultimate plans of God. In the process of sanctification, the believer is called to pursue a holy lifestyle as laid out in God’s Word. Although there are many warnings against “falling away,” the warnings are included to ensure the believer does not stray from the Word of God, not as proof that a believer can lose his salvation.

Life After Death

We believe that Hell is a real place that is the destination of all who sin and break the holy law of God. It is a place where some type of fiery agony and torment happen every single moment. There is absolutely no relief from the pain and anguish, and no hope of being set free from it. We also believe that Christians will spend an eternity with God in the New Heavens and the New Earth, a place of eternal joy and bliss. There will be no presence of sin as believers get to enjoy God fully forever and ever.
